Wellness in Motion for Solihull Reformer Pilates Studio

Introduction

Empower Wellness Studio is a brand-new reformer Pilates and holistic wellness space in the heart of Dickens Heath, Solihull. Founded by Emma Brown, a chemist and long-time fitness instructor, the studio was designed to bring warmth and calm to a traditionally clinical environment.

Emma approached Premier with a clear brief: to create a relaxing, Japandi-inspired studio on a tight budget, without compromising on design quality or atmosphere.

Our Solution

Premier’s Fit Out team, led by Ed Earl, worked closely with Emma to turn her vision into reality.

We designed a space that balances function and serenity:
• Warm wood tones and soft lighting to promote a sense of calm.
• Acoustic wall panelling to improve sound quality and reduce echo.
• Individual mirrors to help participants focus on their own form without distraction.

The layout includes a bespoke reformer Pilates room and a separate studio space, created using a custom-built stud wall with its own entrance. This flexible design allows Emma to lease the additional room to other holistic practitioners, supporting future business growth.

We Delivered

The result is a space that feels premium and personal:

• Japandi-inspired interior with a natural, wellness-led aesthetic.
• High-quality finishes within cost-effective parameters.
• Flexible design allowing future rental and expansion opportunities.

Emma plans to enhance the space further with a cherry blossom ceiling installation, extending the nature-inspired design and creating a truly unique Pilates environment.

 

The Impact

Empower Wellness Studio opened to overwhelming success. Its opening weekend sold out, with over 60 new members introduced to reformer Pilates.
Emma’s next goal is to double memberships by December, supported by a growing online presence and a loyal local community.
